Monster Hunter Freedom 2
If there’s one thing you can count on in this world, it’s that Capcom’s second try is always better than their first. The company’s discography is littered with sequels that trumped the first go-around: Street Fighter II, Resident Evil 2, Mega Man 2, you name it — just about every Capcom follow-up (except Devil May Cry 2) brings more fun and more stuff for fans to sink their teeth into. While the original Monster Hunter Freedom was impressive for not only improving the controls and content of the PS2 version — and managing to imitate the PS2’s graphics on the PSP in the first place — Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is so comprehensively overloaded with new features, it’s one of the best multiplayer PSP games around. Since the PS2 sequel (called Monster Hunter Dos in Japan) never came to the States, this is the first chance most people will have at playing this title, as it’s essentially the same game.
007 the World Is Not Enough
If you’ve seen the movie on which this is based, the game’s levels will all be familiar. There has been a kidnapping and it’s up to you to scour the globe, rescue the victim, and untangle a twisty plot laced with betrayal. It wouldn’t be a Bond game without myriad gadgets to help you along the way, so there’s plenty of stuff to play with, including a multifunction laser/stun gun/grappling hook watch, safecracking equipment, and x-ray glasses. Weapons range from Bond’s signature 9 mm automatic to shotguns, assault rifles, and everything in between.

The Sims 2 Pets
The Sims 2: Pets gives your Sims the chance to raise & care for a pet! Teach them new tricks, take them for a romp in the park, outfit them with new pet accessories and even give them a job! As in real life, your Sims’ pet will require care and training. A neglected cat with an urge to scratch might claw up your new couch if you aren’t careful, and leaving your dog unattended near a freshly planted flower bed probably isn’t wise. With so many different animals to choose from, there’s no telling what could occur!

For the first time, players will also be able to lead a bazooka team, order their squad on an MG42, or fire mortar rounds. An enhanced co-op mode (Skirmish) offers players a 12-mission campaign.

Crash Tag Team Racing

After being humiliated yet again by Crash Bandicoot at the end of Crash Twinsanity, Cortex returns to his evil scheming in his dilapidated Iceberg Lair. He stumbles across a newspaper article regarding the closure of Ebeneezer Von Clutch’s condemned racing arena. He hatches a sinister plan to challenge Crash to a seemingly friendly race competition… with plans of crushing the hapless bandicoot under the ruins of the hazardous racetrack! Will the evil doctor’s plans be the end of our furry hero? In Crash Tag Team Racing, players can “clash” their car with an opponent’s mid-race to make a super-car equipped with a powerful turret gun. When clashed, players can either get behind the wheel and drive, or fire an onboard weapon. Each character has his or her own uniquely deadly 360-degree rotating turret. Players can continue the action out of the car where they can explore the entire world on foot and collect upgrades for their cars and unlock bonus tracks.
