“Lost Regnum gives a great first impression. The combat is varied and at times deep, the enemies have half a brain, and there seems to be a lot to unlock. Then you get past the first level and realize that there are only 10ish levels which all take place in dungeons that look identical. That being said, if you can get past the repetitiveness and the length you’ve got a fun hack n’ slash action game in the spirit of Untold Legends…”
Legend of Heroes III: Song of the Ocean
The third of Nihon Falcom’s trilogy of RPGs, resurrected for the PlayStation Portable after release years before on PC systems.
The Gagharv Trilogy comes to a close with this third PSP title. You play Forto, who sets off on an adventure to locate a song left behind by a legendary composer. The game features an improved battle system, allowing you to change party members during battle. As you work through the story, you’ll meet a variety of characters, of whom six will be able to join your party. Those with data from the first two titles will be treated to an extra mode in which the characters from those titles can be used in battle.

Koloomn is a truly masteripece puzzle game that, as usual, is simple to explay but hard to master. You can rotate 4 coloured blocks clockwise or counterclockwise to make four blocks of the same color to match and disappear. With a colorful graphic, nice musics and sound effects, cute characters and different sets fo difficulty Koloomn is a must-have for any PSP possessor. Due to the hardwere there is a powerful multiplayer feature, but you can also play alone against the incredible AI: every charachter have a unique strategy for beat you. Huge chain combinations are possible, to end up in most destructive attack to your opponent. Special attack, will also modify the game structure, the block size, the command input and many more.

Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner
An RPG by Kouji Okada (the father of the Shin Megami Tensei series), Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner focuses on monster collection and battles. You play as Vyse, a Jewel Summoner. Jewel Summoners are people who can summon monsters that have been changed into jewel form. While Vyse never underwent the training required to become a Jewel Summoner, he did inherit a charm from his mother which gave him the summoning abilities. Vyse heads off on a quest to find Shenah, the killer of his mother.
Vyse has some support characters at his side. He travels alongside a monster, Shateen, and will meet other Jewel Summoners, including Grey, the son of the former head of parliament, and Lin, a prophet who forsaw the destruction Shenah would bring to the world. The game features over 100 monsters, and includes ad-hoc wireless connectivity to battle players or trade jewels.
